Christopher Will Perform Twice in Worship, Once as a Busker at UCC General Synod 2019
From June 21st through the 2th, delegates of the United Church of Christ will gather in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for its biennial General Synod. During that time, Christopher will be performing several times, marking the tenth time that Christopher or his music have been a part of the gathering.
At Saturday morning’s worship, Christopher will be leading the song “Coming Together,” which he wrote for the celebration of full communion between the UCC and the United Church of Canada in 2015. Monday evening, at the closing worship service, he will be leading, “I Will Sing of Your Love, Love, Love,” which was commissioned by the Missouri/Mid-South Conference of the UCC to accompany the UCC’s “Three Great Loves” identity campaign. Additionally, at some point during the event, he will be serving as a busker, playing in the hallways somewhere after a plenary session lets out. The time and location of that performance is yet to be announced, so watch for it to be announced on Facebook and Twitter!
Lastly, during Monday’s plenary sessions, the UCC will be debuting a music video about the 3 Great Loves campaign featuring “I Will Sing of Your Love, Love, Love.” Look for that video on social media starting on Tuesday, June 25th!
